Patron vs. Cabo

Can one tequila really outweigh another to a Canadian's palette?

My passion to learn, understand and acquire a taste for this 100% blue agave derivative came about at a Mexican restaurant downtown Toronto.  Alone, hungry after a day at the Yoga conference, I asked the right owner at the right time to explain to me the difference about his private reserve of over 90 tequilas.  Well, since that day nearly 2 years ago, I've been sampling, shaking and spitting.

Tonight, have have been introduced to Cabo - paired beside Patron (only descent tequila on hand), to taste some great similarities and differences.  Instantly, I found it sweeter and a little lighter.  But paired side by side, Patron still came out on top. But doesn't come close to Don Julio or Corzo. Then, I hit up Google for some advice - looks like I have a lot of tequila tasking to refine this agave palette! Compare your tequilas!

But the bottles are worth a mention!  The bottles are so rad!  I have a small collection growing of flawless alcohol bottles that should be reused for, something.  I think one Patron bottle will be used for a small terrarium or even a fish bowl.  Would that be cruel?
